When inspecting the code, there seems to be a javascript error as follows “{“code”:”rest_no_route”,”message”:”No route was found matching the URL and request method”,”data”:{“status”:404}}”
Hi,
I ran into this error over the weekend and I simply recreated the form in contact form 7. This however is just quick fix until the root of this problem is discovered.
Thanks, however recreating the form doesn’t solve the issue for me. Neither does rolling back the version of Contact Form 7 etc. I wonder if anyone else has an idea about this?
Clicking the “next” button now creates the following error when inspecting the element:
/wp-json/contact-form-7/v1/contact-forms/1591/feedback
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Internal Server Error)
@webheadllc any chance you could help with this please? I’d be more than happy to donate for your time and effort.

Hi,
Couple things you could try is to recreate the sample form:
https://webheadcoder.com/contact-form-7-multi-step-form/
And see if that works for you. If it does, then slowly add and replace parts of the form with your fields.
If it doesn’t, then you probably have an issue with another plugin or your theme. Change your theme to the default twenty seventeen theme and deactivate all your plugins except the Contact Form 7 and this plugin and see if that helps. Many times other plugins have javascript or PHP errors that interfere with this plugin.
