• Hi

The following message has suddenly appeared just under the header on all my site pages “400 Bad Request nginx”. I’m hoping someone may be able to assist me with deleting it. I have cleared cookies on all my browsers, deactivated and reactivated all plugins, switched themes and run a malware/virus scan, but can’t get rid of this message!

I have spoken to the hosting provider and their response was “It seems to be a coding issue as the domain is on our Linux environment that uses Apache. There is no possibility for getting an nginx error on your wordpress site hosted on our servers.”

Here is a link to a screenshot of a page with the message:

I can’t give a link to a site page as I have a coming soon plugin activated.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated. I’m not very technical, so the simpler the explanation the better if possible!

    Thank you in advance.

  • Are you trying to load content from a 3rd-party site? It could be a response from their server and not yours. I went to the site and got the under construction page but no error like in your screenshot, or the text that was below it.
