    Hello all,

I open a topic few hours before about an issue with the number of variation:
    https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/variation-issue-with-a-lot-of-possible-variation/#post-14681348

Thanks to seank123 for the help!

But now I’m starting thinking it’s not the best solution for me…

Basically, I have 1 product with 8 variations (and each has 8 choices). If possible I want each choice unique! but based on the previous solution I have to create each possible variations (and in this case, it’s more than 40000 !!!).

Does someone have suggestions to simplify the process ?

    Thanks,
    David

    Hi @sgbvida,

If you’re looking for a way to optimize your variations, rather than simply using the default options of WooCommerce for the display and selection of variations, you can make them more attractive with plugins.

This article will walk you through some of the most used plugins for product variations:

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Thanks for the link, indeed both of them optimize the shopping experience but none of them help me to create each variation case (and i can’t create 40 000).

    Thanks,
    David

Do you need to have each variation defined? Are you doing stock control, do they have different prices, images or weights etc?

No, Everything (weights, prices, and images), and I don’t use stock control.

Right now, I stopped to define each variation because manually I have to add more than 40 000 different cases (“only” 40 000 because It’s the number of the unique case otherwise it’s more than 10 million cases).

The best use case for me would be for each variation to be unique (eg each color can only be called once), if that’s too difficult, at least all the dropdowns show everything.

You may want to look at ditching variations and using something like Extra Product Options

Using this you could, for example, show a different set of options when each colour is selected.

Ok, it works perfectly, it’s almost what I want, but I think it’s too complicated to filter each droplist!
