I´m having a very strange problem.
Trying to save changes I´ve made in my cache plugin, and I get an error, 403,Wordfence have blocked the action, when trying to save the changes.
The strange is, on this site I don´t have Wordfence installed:-)
I have it on several other domains hosted at the same server.
How is that possible to happen, and how to solve it?

  • Hi @reswpme,

What is most likely happening here is that the site with the cache plugin is installed in a sub-folder of another WordPress site where Wordfence is installed –and the Firewall has been optimized (Extended Protection).

You can force Wordfence to completely ignore what happens in the sub-folder in question by placing a “.user.ini” file with “auto_prepend_file = none” in the said sub-folder. –as discussed in this topic.

    Thanks for the help.
Yes I figured that out, it´s an addon domain in cPanel, so I fixed it earlier.

    Thanks for the confirmation, @reswpme!

    Glad it’s all fixed now.
