    I have an error while publish a new post.
    It’s my first post today after plugin install (and two test or check messages by plugin button).
    Why is this happening?

    Error text:

    “One or more of your last posts has failed to send a status update to Twitter. The Tweet has been saved, and you can re-Tweet it at your leisure.

    403 Forbidden: The request is understood, but it has been refused by Twitter. Reasons: Too many Tweets in a short time or the same Tweet was submitted twice, among others. Not an error from WP to Twitter.”

    I had that, and updated the plugin to 2.6.9. The problem resolved.

    That error is very explicit – your post was refused by Twitter. The most likely reasons have to do with rate limiting or duplication of content, but ultimately it’s that Twitter can refuse anything they want to for any reason, and there’s nothing I can do about it.
