403 Forbidden / 500 Internal Server Error
-
Before I explain my problem I need to point out that I have read all the related topics in this forum and am a little confused! I am not an IT brain but seem to have a good feel for working things out!
I set up the multi-site function by entering the following into the wp-config.php file:
define('WP_ALLOW_MULTISITE', true); It worked beautifully and the network settings page appeared in the control panel. I then setup a subdomain members.theactorsnest.com.au.
When I try to edit the new subdomain via Super Admin, I get a new page that states: Forbidden
You don’t have permission to access / on this server.
Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
I deactivated the plugins and it made no difference. I haven’t changed the theme to the default theme, because I had a drama doing this once and am scared to screw everything up!
Help!!!
