Hi, I used WordPress plugin WPPA to generate many photo pages as slides with the create all auto pages parameter.
After some period of time I deleted them using WPPA delete all auto pages but the internet bots are finding the urls somewhere and reporting 404 for each one.

Is that a bug in WPPA?

Or is there some way to stop this from happening.

    Thanks

This is not a bug. This is life. If you remove something that has previously been found, it will no longer be found.

I recommend you to wait until the bots have learned that those pages no longer exist and no longer search for them.

Thanks. When I click start on delete all autopages it shows the number 147, then in several seconds it says ready and 0.

But if i click it again it says the same thing again even though i have no autopages created.

Is not the number 147 wrong or for some ready wppa can’t delete the last 147 autopages.

When you start delete autopages, all photos will be checked if there is a page and if so it will be deleted. During this process every few seconds the number to go is shown. This does only say how many still have to be checked and says nothing about how many have to be deleted. When it says ‘Reaydy 0’ it is ready and 0 to go.
