    Hello,

My checkout is resulting in a 404 page.
The woocommmerce page is set correctly but and in the customizer it is displayed.
Anyone an idea how this is possible? Could this be an problem with google analytics meta tag?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Any chance you need to reset your permalinks? I’m noticing that your checkout page is going to this link: https://www.research-chem.nl/?page_id=653

I’m not sure what page you have set for the checkout page, so I can’t check to see if that URL is working properly. The rest of your pages seem to have pretty permalinks, so something seems amiss there.

    1. Click on General => Permalinks
    2. See what your current permalink settings are
    3. Depending on your current settings, select a different permalink option ( IE: if you are set to Post name, select Default.
    4. Click Save Changes
    5. Now that your changes have saved, select the original Permalink setting
    6. Click Save Changes
    7. Check to see if your permalinks have corrected

    Hey there,

I’m tackling this from a different angle. 🙂

According to the cart page, the checkout page is:
    https://www.research-chem.nl/?page_id=653

That’s unlikely to be correct, unless you haven’t set a title for that checkout page. Can you please do the following?

    1. Make sure a page is created called “checkout” or “afrekenen” (the name isn’t too important, except that the slug will show in the URL) under wp-admin > Pages
    2. Make sure the only thing that page contains is the following shortcode: [woocommerce_checkout]
    3. Under WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced, make sure the checkout page is set to the page you were just looking at
    4. Once you’ve confirmed the page is set, go back to the Pages library and make sure the page is noting that it’s being used as the checkout page. Example: http://cld.wthms.co/0ZDuQ6

That should sort it out – if not, please do let us know.
