    I am using the free version of semiologic theme. I guess my theme doesn’t support this kind of thing

    Some Themes does not support the Virtual Management Page so in that case you will have to create again a new page.

    On the instruction you can see that:

    Make a copy of your template’s index.php (or page.php, if you have one), and call it subscribe.php

    So subscribe.php is the same as your current permalink structure using the PHP extension, so after you create the real page you have to add in the Management URL setting value /subscribe.php and disable the Virtual Management Page.

    shall i upload subscribe.php in my theme folder or public root?

    @chintu74,

    You have to make a copy of your Theme index.php file and put it on the same location.

    What I mention earlier is one one way to achieve the desire results, the other way is just to continue with the instruction on the http://behstant.com/subscribe-reloaded/realMgnPage.php site.

    This works now, but the manage subscription link doesn’t work if one is not logged in. Then they are shown a link like this:

    http://onestepreviews.com/http://onestepreviews.com/?page_id=9999999

    The manage subscription link will work when the plugin detects the user email address either by a logged in user or by an email address store in a cookie, this cookie is created when you post a comment.

    I just subscribe without commenting in your page I will let you know what else I find.

    I will post some fake comments then. lemme know 😀

    I have subscribe without commenting successfully. The plugin is working correctly. Also I received the notification status.

    The only weird thing that I find is that after a time that you posted a comment the cookie will expire and as a result of that your will not be able to manage your subscriptions, the only way to enable the manage subscription link is to comment again using your same email address. A manage subscription link could be created to manage your subscriptions when the cookie expired, I could add it as a new feature.

    That would be nice, thanks a lot for the help 🙂

    I will delete the fake comments now that their job is done (I hope)
