It can cause issues on Shared SSL. Did you try it without the plugin? It’s possible your server just isn’t set up correctly.
Hi,
I have the same problem… Have you found a solution you can share?
Thank you!
I had created multi site everythingagricultural.com. Prior to the installation of the plugin “all” pages showed just fine when clicking on links.
Now! Now I am getting a page 404 error code for all pages except the home page.
The error reads
Not Found
The requested URL / Welcom-login? was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use the ErrorDocument to handle the request.
I tried deactivating the plugin but “still” the error persisted. I am beginning to wish that I never installed the plugin as now I cannot figure out how to get things back to where they were prior to installing the plugin.
Patience… is a virtue and time is a terrible thing to waste.
Update! The main site everythingagricultural.com is now able to display the links / pages in associated with the navigation links! Hurray!
It appears that the Network installation instructions for creating the A record wild card vary just slightly form Hosting provider to hosting provider.
Just incase anyone wants to know. The wild card subdomain “*everyghingagricultural.com” that was “originally setup” in the Cpanel under the Advanced DNS had to be deleted and installed instead under the “Subdomain” icon (which is in the Domain section of Cpanel) after inserting the “*domain.com” tab and it prefills. Click on create and presto.
Back to the 404 page errors. I was able to create the subdomain JessiesCorner.everythingagricultural.com and the site is now visible in a browser. Problem is…non of it’s navigation links work. They are now showing the 404 page error.
Help..please..
