• Hi,

I’m not sure if I should address this to the Yoast WordPress SEO Plugin support or W3 Total Cache support but I will probably send this to both. I had at one time enabled the xml sitemap option on the Yoast WordPress plugin, however at one point something was not working so I ended up switching to Google XML Sitemaps (4.0.7) which worked great.

My problem is this: My Google page speed console keeps giving me a 404 error saying it cannot find sitemap_index.xml even when it is not enabled in Yoast. I did find that if I disable W3 Total Cache plugin then the errors go away.

In the end I would like to continue using Google XML Sitemaps and not use the one with Yoast. I will say everything else is working great with yoast! Great plugin!

Is there something I need to add to W3 Total Cache plugin to make this work so I don’t get the 404 error in the google page speed console for sitemap_index.xml?

    My site is http://www.lifeorganizingtips.com

    Thanks
