404 error page plugin not working

    Hello, I installed the Genesis 404 Page plugin and updated the 404 file but nothing changed on my error page. I wonder if there might be a problem because I haven’t updated my WordPress version yet?!? It seems pretty plug n play, but it’s not working. Any advice? Thanks!

    What child theme are you using? Your theme might be creating its own 404 page using a 404.php file or specific code elsewhere in the theme.
