Hi someone02 did you enable the following under WP Security >> Firewall >> 404 Detection

    In regards to your question.

Is it possible to block the IP for example for 30 minutes or an hour after 5 consecutive attempts to access the non-existent pages?

You can block an IP address indefinitely by adding them to the Blacklist feature. Or you can block them by x amount of minutes or hours. This is not based on the number of consecutive attempts. This is based on the first time attempt if the following is enabled Enable IP Lockout For 404 Events.

I see the logs of 404 errors.

but I did not specifically marked anything

    only
Activate the ability to block IP-addresses in connection with the 404 error: YES
    there is a comment
When put a tick here, all cases of 404 errors on your site will be included in the log below. You can follow these cases and to select some IP addresses in the table that you want to block from the table “Logs error 404”. Then these addresses will not be able to access your site.

Period blocking due to errors 404 (minutes): XXX

URL redirect on error 404: XXX

but I have to view the logs and manually block addresses.
eg someone scanned the night my site, and I only add his day .. when he was gone .. πŸ™

Hi someone02 you have received an answer by one of the developers in your other thread.

sorry for persistence, but he answered about the separation of blocked addresses, and not about the automatic IP blocking, that are trying to gain access to non-existent pages.

for example, someone tries to access the site.ru/login and I want to be able to automatically block these guys, instead of viewing the logs after a few hours and take action already late.

such things have in other products, but I do not want to use several plugins (((

Have you enabled Enable Login Lockdown Feature under WP Security >> User Login?

    Thread Starter someone02

    (@someone02)

    yes of course.
but this option is responsible for blocking users who enter an incorrect username or password on the login page.
I’m telling you that I want to block users who try to access the standard logon page by iterating /login, /admin, etc. .
And my real login page has been renamed.

Hi someone02, I understand now what you mean. Unfortunately that option is not currently available. The plugin developers might look at this options as a future request.

    Thank you

Would be cool if you could implement it )))
