The error is not in the plugin, it’s on Tumblr’s end. They must have recently broken it, because it was working fine before.
Because the error is not in the plugin, there’s nothing we can do to fix it. You’ll have to wait for Tumblr to fix it.

I found a workaround. Tumblr appears to have changed the way their OAuth API works, and didn’t document it anywhere. Of course, they didn’t have any serious documentation of OAuth to begin with, so I don’t know why I’m surprised. 😛
Version 0.8 of the plugin appears to work for me.
