    Hello
I am having a problem with the confirmation page when a subscriber presses the confirmation link in his email.
A 404 error page is appearing but on the backend the status is correctly changing to “subscribed”

I have wordfence installed, does this affect it in anyway ?
How can i correct this problem?

  • Hi there @raffi007,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Can you please check what page do you have added in MailPoet > Settings > Sign-up Confirmation > Confirmation page?

Is it a custom page or MailPoet Page? Does it work if you click Preview next to it?

    Hello

I realized that the pages for confirming the subscription, the management of subscription and the unsubscription are all giving 404 errors but yet when i press preview from the settings, i get the preview correctly.

The only solution i found for this was to create my custom pages for the above 3 and replace them in the settings and things got back to normal.
But if i switch back to the default Mailpoet pages in the settings, i get 404 errors again.

    Hi there @raffi007,

Thanks for getting back to us!

This is interesting. I can’t replicate that on my test site so I think something else is coming into play here.

You can either keep your custom pages if they’re working or do a conflict test if you want to get to the root cause: https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/204-how-to-test-for-plugins-conflict

    Cheers!

    Hi @raffi007
Did you stick to your custom pages or is it working with the mailpoet pages now?
I have the same problem with the 404 error
    Thanks
