One thing that I have noticed happens is that the staging process gets stuck after the ” Updating prefix namewp_ to staging_wp_ has been done succesfully.” is done.
If I leave the page and then come back and select continue, the process finishes but the site is not available (404 error).
Thanks.
Hi,
please can you write me a mail support [at] wp-staging.com and send me the logfiles from the directory wp-content/plugins/wp-staging/logs?

Has there been a thrown a error message, how did it stuck, or did it just stop without any error message?
Regards,
René
Please send me also via mail the log from tools->system info
Am just getting the logs to email to you.
When I say stuck, I mean the cloning process doesnt finish, it just keeps spinning/processing. I let it run for over 12 hours and then cancelled it.
Do you have the full path for logs from tools -> system info as I cannot find this path.
I already send you the answer via mail
Ok this is solved now.!
So what we have here:
emjaycee is using wordpress in its own subdirectory, following this instruction: https://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory
If your wordpress is in subdirectory as well just enable the new option in
wp staging->settings->Wordpress in subdirectory BEFORE you create a staging site. The staging site will be created successfully and than.
Thanks Rene for your great support – even with a 10 hour time difference.
