404 Errors

I have just started using the Redirection plugin and I find it to be a very useful tool.

I’ve changed the permalink structure on my website from a date format to a postname format and I’ve implemented a 301 redirection in the .htaccess file to redirect inquiries from the old format to the new.

I’m looking at 404 errors in the redirection tool to monitor how this is going and I’m seeing 404 errors for a lot of these inquiries. I know that these inquiries are being redirected and all I want to see is legitimate 404 errors. Is there anyway I can prevent inquiries that have been redirected from showing up in the 404 Log as a 404 error?
