• Suddenly today my site is 404ing every visit from Safari on iPhone, the site itself loads but the post doesn’t. I’ve tried Safari on Windows and on iPad, both fine as is Android.

    Can anybody help?

We can’t help with commercial themes.
Contact your theme’s vendors for issues regarding their themes.

As far as I’m aware it isn’t the theme, I’ve been using it for months and this only started today.

Managed to find the source and put a quick redirect for the time being but why it’s happening I don’t know, some one or something is trying to access these pages, all from iPhone and from all over the world, 150+ requests to the following…

    /wp
    /apple-touch-icon.png
    /apple-touch-icon-precomposed.png
    /apple-touch-icon-114×114.png
    /apple-touch-icon-114×114-precomposed.png

I checked back and I average 20 visits a day on iPhone without issue, can anybody shed any light on whats going on here?

I am having the same problem. At first it was ALL browsers, so I contacted my webhost and they said, “It’s not us, try changing your permalinks to default,” which worked on my computer. But this morning people are saying they still get a 404 error. (It’s not the front page, only all the link – ALL THE LINKS!)

http://www.thedirtynormal.com – I’m using Weaver II (NB It’s a sex education blog, generally SFW, but just in case you don’t want to be surprised…)
