404 errors keep me from doing most things

    I have been, for the last few days, getting 404 errors when trying to do many things. placing images, editing css fils through the backend, and many other things which I was once able to do.

    Does anyone know why this is, are there server permissions which may have gotten changed or something.

    Please help.
