    After updating to the latest version, a website I manage is throwing 404 errors on all the category pages. Wondering if anyone else has encountered this as well…

    @piltdownman What’s the issue you are facing? From which version you have updated to the latest version?

    I am running WP 4.9.1 and Custom Permalinks 1.2.8

    I don’t recall what the upgrade path was for your plugin, but I believe I have updated it every time a new version pings me.

    Here is one of the category pages that is giving me a 404;

    I have done the “re-save your permalinks” thing, and that didn’t seem to help.

    @piltdownman Custom Permalinks 1.2.8 was released 5 weeks ago and from last weeks i have got couple of issues but no one reported the issue for category till.

    In the current version, there is no such major change for the category. But for the Quick fix i suggest you 2 things.

    1. Deactivate all the installed plugins and check the page if it is start working then activate the plugin one-by-one and check which plugin is making conflict with Custom Permalinks.
      If deactivating Plugins doesn’t affect the URL so, change the theme to the default WP theme and check URLs again.
    2. If first step doesn’t help you so, download the previous versions of the plugin one-by-one from here: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/custom-permalinks/advanced/ and upload it from the FTP. At which version Category URLs starts working for you. please comment it out here

    Let me know your findings.
