404 errors on wp-cron when backupwordpress runs

I have a funny issue of receiving 404 on my wp-cron.php file.
I have a low traffic website and running Backupwordpress at 5pm rarely worked until I next got a visitor which could be many hours later etc.I get around this issue by setting up a cron job in cPanel to run on the hour every hour.
wget -q –delete-after http://www.captzeanie.com/wp-cron.phpAt every hour it works fine without producing any file errors or any 404 or any other issues EXCEPT from when wp-cron fires Backupwordpress to do it backups.
I have backupwordpress setup to run the backups at 4:59pm, so when the cPanel CRON job runs at 5:00pm then the backups will start.
However at this time the wp-cron.php produces a 404 error and I can not work out why it is only at 5pm I get the 404. The backups do run and I do get my compressed file being created but I have no idea why the 404 happens.
I stopped Backupwordpress from doing backups and at 5pm I do not get any 404 when running wp-cron.php, so the issue is why do I get the 404 when the backups run.
Any ideas anyone?
