404 Issue

    Hi, I am having a new issue with my site that I can’t seem to understand. My SSL certificate ran out, but now wordpress is giving me a 404 error whenever I try to access my site. My hosting service said that it is not fully connected to the SSL issue, and that some of it is related to the wordpress site, but I cannot get onto the back end of the site due to the 404 issue.

    Hello kelsotoes,
    As a test, try renaming your .htaccess file. Also, try changing your WordPress URL to http, instead of https. You can force the change directly in the database, or in the wp-config file without logging into your Dashboard.
