404’s when using Date/Name permalinks?

    My blog I’m installing is at http://www.blakethompson.net

    I was trying to get my Feedburner plugin working correctly and it never could find it. But then when I tried to look anywhere else, I got 404 errors there too. But when I changed the permalink structure to “default” everything began working just fine.

    But I want to use the Date/Name structure. Can someone tell me what went wrong? Why do I get 404 Errors w/ that P’link structure?

    1. Make sure mod_rewrite and AllowOverride is enabled on your server
    2. Make sure your .htaccess file is writable before you modify the permalink structure.
