That’s really weird. Did you install another plugins? When I search on the error 405, I saw it was a conflict problem between some plugins.
Did you following this guide to add CloudFlare to your WordPress website? https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/en-us/articles/227634427-Using-Cloudflare-with-WordPress
Maybe you have to follow also the guide of Yoast SEO. https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-to-check-for-plugin-conflicts/#utm_source=support&utm_medium=forum&utm_campaign=support-link
I just had the same problem when I added an SSL certifiate, resolved it by updating the ‘WordPress Address (URL)’ and ‘Site Address (URL)’ urls to include ‘https://’

Hello…
I did some research and found this post.
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/wp-comments-post-php-not-reading-request_method-correctly/
I have the same problem. there are no PHP errors in any way showed.
EXTRA info.
It worked before, 2 days ago we switched to CloudFlare, added CloudFlare ssh plugin and switched to https.
On post submission, I get error 405.
Googled it too, didn’t find anything that worked ( rewrite of whole file, disabling plugins, etc)
help ?
