406 errors caused by Mod Security blocking Ahrefs robots.

    Ahrefs have thrown up a 406 error. WP Blog can’t be crawled because of Mod Security blocking Ahrefs bots. I don’t have Mod Security in CPanel, which makes me think it’s part of Wordfence. When searching wordfence for an answer it directed me to here.

    Hi @junegrinstead

    You shouldn’t see a section for ModSecurity in cPanel.

    If ModSecurity is responsible for the blocking then you will need to speak to your hosting provider about it.
