I recently got an automated of a 422 error related to a specific field.

However, when I checked the backend, everything is configured correctly yet the tooltips appear busted and the AirTable configuration shows a “Please save your settings before mapping your fields” error.

This seems to be happening on one specific website. I have yet to see this error on any other sites which use this plugin. I revoked the token and regenerated a new one to no effect. I’ve saved the correct base name and table name, still no effect.

I’ve tested it on the front end and receive an error message.

    Hi @mortega,

    Thanks for the detailed explanation.

This message usually appears when the Airtable base or table has been changed for the connection. After making such a change, it’s mandatory to click the Save button at the bottom of the settings page so that:

    • the page refreshes correctly,
    • the available fields are reloaded,
    • and the field mapping can be done properly.

If the settings are not saved after changing the base or table, the mapping is blocked and this exact message is shown.

To move forward, could you please confirm:

    1. That you clicked Save after changing the base or table, before going to the mapping screen?
    2. If the issue still persists:
      • could you check the logs on your site to see if any error is reported?
      • or, if it’s easier, record a short video showing the issue on the affected site?

This will help us quickly determine if something specific to that site is causing the behavior.

    Kind Regards,

    Cristian
