The following line appears three times at the top of my dashboard after I upgraded to 4.4.

Warning: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, class ‘EDD_SL_Plugin_Updater’ does not have a method ‘check_update’ in /home/xxxxxxx/public_html/xxxxxxx/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 235

(note: xxxxxxx’s are my website and directory that I changed for security)

It appeared after I installed 4.4. Just upgraded to 4.4.1 and it is still there. Appears that I am not getting any plugins update notifications now.

I looked at the line and I cannot understand what to change or mod.

    Hope someone can help.

    Bob

Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Twenty Fifteen theme to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
