Can you let me know where I find the “Add Store” or “Add Products” in the page section – I have been through all options and don’t seem to see Selz anywhere there?

The latest version uses the new Gutenburg editor. So you create a new post and add a “block” for the store/button/widget, then configure the options on the right, like other blocks.

Now I am in a page – is it ok to add Selz blocks on a page? I have added the block and I cannot see any options that have Selz on it either while selecting the block or after added a <paragraph> block. It is not under the widget title… Can you tell me exactly what I press under which title – I really appreciate your help!
PS I have tried code and embedded off the selz site and it just appears as code on the page rather than embedded. I am not having much luck today it would seem!

It’s much easier to just use the plugin! WordPress doesn’t make it easy to embed code – you have to enter it as HTML or like I say, just use the plugin that makes it way easier.

I have the plugin, I went to settings on the plugin page and it just diverts me to your website. But even with the plugin there is no reference of it in the block section…

Are you using WordPress 5? The latest version uses their new Gutenburg editor (https://ww.wp.xz.cn/gutenberg/) which uses blocks so wherever the blocks are supported, our plugin will work. Make sure the plugin is installed and activated and you’ll see ‘Selz Ecommerce’ at the bottom of the list of blocks you can use.
If you’re using v4 then you’ll be stuck on the classic editor with the 2 buttons above the “classic” editor to add the embeds.

You need to connect your Selz account so we can get your list of items etc. That will be why it’s directing you to settings.

Thanks Sam – I have connected – It may be that I am 5.03 version – will find a way to downgrade back 5.0 maybe….

We tested with 5.0.3 here and it seems to work fine. The steps would be:
– Install plug-in and activate
– Connect your Selz account in the plug-in settings page
– Edit your page or post and add the blocks from ‘Selz Ecommerce’
If you have the “Classic Editor” plug-in installed. It’ll need to be removed for the Gutenberg editor to work.
