    Hi there,

    I recently upgraded to PHP 8.0 and since then, whenever I have autoptimize enabled, some of the website visitors get 500 error. The moment I disable it however, everything works fine.
    This is the error log if it helps.
    [Wed Aug 18 11:38:33.239744 2021] [proxy_fcgi:error] [pid 29196:tid 139690564568832] [client 66.249.82.170:35414] AH01071: Got error ‘PHP message: PHP Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError: call_user_func_array(): Argument #1 ($function) must be a valid c…………..buffering()\n#4 /home/613119.{website}.com/vwnygwyqan/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php(4979): ob_end_flush()\n#5 /home/613119.{website}.com/vwnygwyqan/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(303): wp_ob_end_flush_all()\n#6 /home/61…’

    Hopefully you’d be able to help me out with this. Thank you.

    I have tested AO on PHP8 and found no major issues, but off course this could be due to the combination of AO with whatever other plugin/ configuration you have. So not simple to troubleshoot, but interesting ..

    Some questions:
    -> part of the PHP errormessage seems to have gotten lost (the dots in Argument #1 ($function) must be a valid c........ .buffering()), can you find the full one?
    -> on cwdev AO currently is not active? is that a development site or is that your production?
    -> have you been able to trigger the error on a non-production site?

    @optimizingmatters Frank, apologies for the delay. Thanks for your suggestion, I was able to find the fix. I had an active plugin called “jQuery Manager for WordPress” which was interfering with AO. When I disabled it and and enabled AO, everything was working fine again. I am not sure what went wrong though.

    Thanks again for a prompt response.
