Hi,
first rename the directory of the Multisite Language Switcher. After that the plugin will be deactivated automatically. Could you please give some information about the error message and your server environment?
Cheers,
Dennis.
Hello,
Thanks for your support; I renamed the plugin directory name and problem persists. The site is currently on ‘coming soon’ mode enabled. After login user/pass is goes to :
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, [no address given] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Before enabling the plugin everything was ok, but now we have this problem.
Is there any point on the database for example for force disable the plugin?
Environment is Plesk server on a hosting using Amen service provider
Regards
Luis
Hi,
so it is clear that the plugin has nothing to do with the eror 500 if the problem persists after renaming the directory. Please check your log files or activate DEBUG for getting a better idea what’s going on.
Read on here: http://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/debugging-wordpress-how-to-use-wp_debug/
Cheers,
Dennis.
Ok,
We replaced tho pulgin back and activated debug.
We are getting the error: [16-Jan-2015 12:16:41] PHP Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /htdocs/public/www/wp-content/plugins/coming-soon-maintenance-mode-ready/modules/user/models/user.php on line 19
I think its only when we try to enter the backoffice. If we desactivate the coming soon plugin (renaming the directory), the site works well, but if we try to goto backoffice the error returns
Regards
Luis
I don’t know this plugin so I can not help here that much. Sorry! You could try to rename this plugin to deactivate it but I’m sure that you understand that I can not give support for another plugin.
