500 Internal Server Error

    Hi there,

    Most recently I started receiving a 500 Internal Server Error while editing my site using WordPress 4.2. Was working fine, then all of a sudden the error occurred. I switched browsers to IE – worked fine for another 5 minutes. Then switched to Firefox – worked great for another hour and then it happenned again.

    At this point I’m stuck – even my blog site is down.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    I’d suggest asking your hosting company – see if something is going on with the server. They should be able to tell you how to look at the server error logs to see why you’re getting that error.

    Thank you. Looks like it was an issue caused by a change I made in my hosting companies control panel. Appreciate the pointer – it set me on the right track
