500 internal server error

    Am using hostinger.fr service. Postie crashes in both manual or scheduled mode, whether I do ‘test config’, ‘debug’ or just ‘Process email’.

    Did serach and checked all permissions on server, also added /tmp directory in root, but to no avail.

    Contacted hostinger helpdesk who claim this issue is no related to their service.

    Any ideas how I can troubleshoot this one ?

    Please look in the PHP or web server logs to see if there is an error message.

    You can also try deactivating all your plugins except Postie then turning them on one by one to see when the error happens.

    You may also need to switch to one of the default themes as a temporary debugging step.
