• Under the Comments section, when entering an incorrect/empty captcha and clicking submit button, no validation/error message is displayed. Instead a “500 Internal Server Error” error is encountered.
Please note, the same Captcha settings work as expected on Contact page. The problem is only with the Comments section.

  • Hi, can you try the following. Can you test one of WordPress default themes like Twenty Sixteen or Seventeen? Then carry out a test if that does not work can you disable all of your other plugins except this one and carry out another test.

Let me know how you go.

Thank you for your quick response.

Unfortunately, I’m still facing the same issue. I tired the below –
    > Deactivated all other plugins expect SI CAPTCHA
    > Deleted and Installed SI CAPTCHA
    > Activated another wordpress theme

Hi, I carried out a test myself. I did not type in the captcha code and I was able to submit the comment. I did not receive an internal server error message.

Carry out another test. Make sure you clear your browser cache and or try a different browser.

Hi, Sorry, I had unchecked the Comment Form from Settings.
Could you please try again now, cause am still seeing the error on both IE and Chrome after clearing cache.
