The same happened to my blog and I decided to install the older version, it’s working for me. What’s wrong with the latest version?

Hey ECADF, where did you download the older version from? Can you please guide me.
Also, which version did you switch to? 0.9.97.5?
I installed Version 0.9.97.3, I just picked this version it works for me, also you can try 0.9.97.4 or 0.9.97.5, here is the link for older versions… scroll down and you will see drop-down menu at the end.

ok thanks so much. I have to delete the current installed version version first and then upload this right? Because I tried to install without deleting the current (latest) first, it did not work.
@navjosh and @ecadf I really apologize for this issue, this is really strange, can you please contact at [email protected] so we can dig deep and find the exact issue that is breaking site after the latest update.
Hi Navjosh, remove the plugin first, download older version and upload it manually.
Hi Mohammed Kaludi, I just sent you email.
I can confirm that we get the same error when upgrading to 0.9.97.6. It breaks every AMP page causing a Fatal Error. Needed to downgrade back to Version 0.9.97.5 to get it work. But, of course this version throws AMP errors in Google Structured data related to images. So now this is broken again.
This isn’t something we should need to email support for. The latest update just doesn’t work.
By the way, this is a great, great plugin, but the last few updates have been tbuggy and frustrating. I’m actually afraid now to ever update this plugin, because every update requires another update to fix a previous bug, and then the next update breaks something else. I don’t know maybe do updates more incrementally instead of pushing thru so much in each update.
Thanks for your help.
Hey @osseonews, when one deletes the amp plugin to install an older version, do the old settings like design etc stay in place?
They should, I guess, but it depends on how you are doing it. We work from a backup of the entire site, so it’s not an issue. I recommend backing up the site before you upgrade a plugin like this, so you can always revert to the backup with all the old settings, in case the upgrade fails for some reason.
Hey @mohammed_kaludi, any update? This is causing major issues for us on SEO as all our amp pages are down.
