5.0.1 Messing up CSS

    I just downloaded/updated the latest version of this app for three of my wordpress websites using custom CSS themes. All three websites had the same problem where the plugin had made my themes completely un-readable, couldn’t read summaries to blogs, pictures were missing, etc. Once I disabled this plugin from all three websites, my themes were back to normal. I did not have this issue prior to the update. I also did a fresh install, deleting the old version and re-installing via FTP. I still received the same results. I enjoy this app, but I am disappointed it is not working with my themes.

    Hi Kat,

    Version 4.7.1 is still available while we figure this out. Do you have a staging site where I could check out what is happening? The CSS should be the same from the last version.

    It also might be a conflict with jquery. Some people have reported issues with AJAX Event Calendar.

    Another thing to try, is reset the settings. It is the last tab in the settings screen that will do this.

    Okay, I tried the reset settings on two sites without success. I also tried disabling AJAX Event Calendar and enabling the app store asst without success as well.

    This is what the sites look like BEFORE and AFTER the app installed:

    This also affects the slide animations on the sites as well where the summaries are not coming up in the slides either.

    I see the problem here. It looks like excerpts aren’t working. Go to the settings tab and make sure, under General, that “Max Length for Auto Excerpt: ” is set to a number.

    I went to SETTINGS > GENERAL > and there is no Max Length for Auto Excerpt. I did find this in one of my theme settings and I input a larger number than the default, but I received the same result.

    I have also tried this with a default WP theme and the same things occurred. For some reason the excerpts are not showing in the layouts or in the slides when the app is activated.
