I added Email/Password/User Key and hit the Save button and now I’m just getting a 502 error when I try to load the plugin settings page.

I turned on Debug but I’m not seeing any errors anywhere.

    Hey @ashlealanier,

Could you see if you have any server-level error logs that might show an error? I wasn’t able to replicate that myself, but it sounds like something’s timing out.

Nothing in the error logs since 6:30 this morning – before we had the plugin installed.

It’s really strange because I can navigate to any other page in the dashboard except this specific settings page.

Happy to send over admin credentials to let you look around. How can I do that privately?

@ashlealanier You can email me: cseal at salesforce dot com

I’ll be happy to see what I can find. There should be an error being logged or shown somewhere, though, maybe in Apache/Nginx logs.

Thanks, @ashlealanier! Can you see if IP Security is set up appropriately: https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=pardot_admin_data_security.htm&type=5

If it’s set to restricted, whitelist the IP address of the server and let’s try again. I wonder if it’s being way too strict and timing out.

Yep, that seems to have fixed it!

Thanks for your help sorting this out.

@ashlealanier Great! I’m really happy to hear that fixed it.

That said—and for anyone else reading this—that’s not the expected behavior. While you will need to have IP Security set correctly to use the plugin, the plugin page should return an error message instead of timing out.

I’ll file this issue for an upcoming release of the plugin.
