_bewpi_invoice_date without Timestamp

    I’m using the _bewpi_invoice_date value to create a filter on my orders screen in woocommerce, however I cannot group them together by day due to the timestamp. Is it possible to store this value without the timestamp? If not, how can I create another field with just the date please?
