a confusing maintenance (??) screen

Hi everyone

I’d need some advice, please

I need/want to be able to set up my website/blog before going online.

By means of a plugin, I’ve put up a screen which says that the website is undergoing maintenance etc etc. Great.

Yet, when (using an “external” PC, or my smartphone, etc) I get to my website, the message I see is completely different::

“The content for this page is empty or has not been saved. Please edit this page and “Save” the contents in the builder”

What am I doing wrong?
