I’ve just installed this on a site I manage because we’ve had seemingly random issues with a long form there with a lot of questions on the form. As you can imagine, we’ve had frustrated users email us stating they received the following Contact Form 7 error message:

“There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later”

But what I don’t understand is why the form works for me immediately after they’ve had the issue. So reading a bit about this error, I found recommendations to install your plugin and have two questions:

    1) I’ve set up using Sendinblue and need to know if your plugin will now work on all our existing Contact 7 forms and any created moving forward?

    2) What, most likely, is the reason certain individuals/devices are seeing this error?

    Hi @revived

Thank you for reaching out to us.

    • Now that the Sendinblue mailer has been set up, all emails sent from your websites are being authenticated by Sendinblue, so no changes are needed to get them working with your Contact form 7 forms.
    • Since this error was appearing before WP Mail SMTP was installed, we would recommend reaching out to the Contact form 7 support team. That error message could be appearing for a number of reasons. What I’d like to know is if the error message continues to appear after WP Mail SMTP was installed and the Sendinblue mailer was set up.

If the error message still appears, you can try enabling debug events in WP Mail SMTP to see if the error is being produced during the actual sending process of it the process doesn’t even start because of a conflict of some kind.

In case you aren’t using it already, you can also look into using the WP Mail Logging, so you can keep track of your email logs.

    I hope this helps 🙂
