A few issues with breadcrumbs

    Hi,

    Great plugin, thank you. I have a few issues with the breadcrumbs, however.

    1. Selecting the ‘show home icon’ doesn’t display a home icon. I have not disabled any options above it.

    2. Changing the breadcrumb forum root to, say, ‘The Forums’, doesn’t change the root name.

    3. Following on from 2., the root for the forums currently says ‘To Forums List’. I have no idea where this is coming from and have done a global search on all 191 files in the bbpress plugin!

    OK, scrap all of that. My theme was set to have breadcrumbs turned off. Turning them on has revealed the correct settings. My apologies. Now I have to work out how to turn off breadcrumbs for all non-bbpress content!

    OK, but there is still an issue. You can see that the root is saying ‘Forums’ (see here, top-right https://followtheboat.com/forums/forum/first-viewing-ftb-episodes/ )

    I changed this to ‘The Forums’ yet the change hasn’t been reflected.

    I cannot replicate this on my test site, so I can only suggest

    It could be a theme or plugin issue

    Themes

    As a test switch to a default theme such as twentyfifteen, and see if this fixes.

    Plugins

    If that doesn’t work, also deactivate all plugins apart from bbpress and see if this fixes. if it does, re-enable one at a time to see which is causing the error.

    Then come back
