A First Class, Excellent Weather Station Plugin

I was able to get this beautiful Weather Station plugin working with my Davis Vantage Pro Plus without a single support posting. The depth of the knowledge base content on the plugin site and on Pierre’s blog answered all of my installation, tuning and design questions too. Thank you so much Pierre Lannoy!

I have developed WordPress plugins myself, and this code is beautiful. I did look at the module that processes input data files because I was building one for this installation and was curious how some of the fields were used. The plugin runs on a site that I use to monitor my solar energy production, and the weather is important to me.

This is truly a work of art — not only in the way that it runs, schedules tasks and handles the weather — it also includes beautiful data visualization capabilities that can be used to create shortcodes specific to your site needs.

As if this were not enough, the plugin author provides excellent support. There is an extensive knowledge base on the site. I used that and his many blog postings with how-to articles to implement this on my site.
