• With over 100k users (currently) it was surprising to see such a low score. I felt compelled to write a review for once, though it will be short.

It’s true the plugin does lack customization features, but I have several clients ask me to install this on EVERY website I create for them. They love it and their clients love it. The ability to interface in real-time with potential prospects should not be understated.

But it’s not for everyone. I would not install this on a large corporate website. There isn’t a way to “direct” or “queue” people into a sales funnel. Whoever is an admin on the Facebook page will be getting these notifications. So it’s great for small to mid-sized businesses.

    Hi @anrkist,

Thanks for the great review and kind feedback. We’re so glad to hear you and your clients are getting value from the plugin.

To your point about larger businesses and sales funnels, it is true that the Page Inbox itself is not primed to serve larger-scale use-cases – howvever, using the Messenger developer platform (https://developers.facebook.com/docs/messenger-platform/), it is possible to build a custom solution to essentially bypass the Page Inbox and manage messages in whichever way the business requires. Many larger organisations have had success deploying their own multi-agent platforms on top of Messenger Platform, and use features such as Handover Protocol (https://developers.facebook.com/docs/messenger-platform/handover-protocol/) to switch threads between automated flows, and human customer care agents.

That said, your feedback is valuable for the team, and will definitely be taken into consideration as we continue to develop the plugin.

    All the best,

    Facebook Team
