    You really need to help everyone solve the uploading of pictures etc onto their word press site. If you notice there has been hundreds of posts saying since they upgraded they can no longer upload images etc. Not one moderator has responded! Is it that you dont know how to solve this problem. We use wordpress, and i for example have paid thousands of dollars to a programmer to get my site looking and working they way i want and no i cant upload photos and my site is a photography site. This is a major concern! Can some from from technical support help the hundreds of word press users with this problem.

    my case:
    everything was working fine on 2.7 i upgraded and now new subcribers can not upload but the old ones can. I reverted back to 2.7 but this problem still occurs. please advise.

    ermm, moderators moderate. thats why theyre called moderators.

    this is a user driven support forum where help is is provided by wordpress users (that means part of the deal is that you help where you can)

    see above. there is NO “technical support” in the sense that youre looking for it.

    as to your problem, there is a sticky thread on the front of the forum. Have you read it? Has your over-paid “programmer”? I bet not.

    yes and i see wordpress moderators answering many other issues!

    they answer because they want to — not because they have to. you’re seemingly under the impression that support from a moderator provides something special and/or that its guaranteed. Neither of those is the case.

    you are using free software which comes with free, un-guaranteed support.

    thats my point.

    I don’t remember ever seeing a policy that stated that moderators HAVE to answer questions. They don’t ever have to post at all if they don’t want.

    With an attitude like that I wouldn’t be surprised if no one ever helped you 🙂
    If the issue is that important to you then why don’t YOU try to figure it out and help everyone else?
