Can you paste a copy of your backup log from the backup/restore tab?

Can you also paste you php error log (this should be available in the root of your site or you can ask your hosts for it)?

Please use a tool such as pastebin.com to share these items

I tried to backup my plugins and theme today and it seems to pause before completing. I don’t know this hasn’t happened before. But I will note that my hosting provider did have server issues and my site was affected for 2 weeks. I’m not certain if that could have caused a issue as well.

Can you try deactivating the feeds-for-youtube plugin and running a backup. Can you then send me the log?

I did as you requested and didn’t have an error while backing up my files. Below are the recent logs

    Hi Vanessa,

Thank you for this. Unfortunately it looks like there is a conflict between UpdraftPlus and the feeds-for-youtube plugin.

I have passed this onto our development team to look at.

I’ll do just that thank you for the help. This seems to be a new issue because it hadn’t happened before.

Since yesterday I have the same issue with this youtube plugin and updraftplus. Is there already a fix or an update in work or in sight?

@jackmac71 I ended up using a different you tube plug in. I contacted both updraft and smash balloon and they passed the issue on to their developers but I have yet to receive any updates on a solution.

@vanessa6297 it’s not the first time updraftplus had some issues on my wp installation. It seems updraft reacts on the webhosting server or on the php version. And its always updraftplus that have issues with other plugins. I have 24 Plugins on my website and the one who have ever issues with the others is updraftplus. I think its time to test an other backup plugin or solution. I tested wpvivid and it worked fine, perhaps I test blogvault. But at the moment my favorite is wpvivid. For my Cloud Solution I need a pro version, on both, but at wpvivid I can pay for a lifetime version. I hate this annual renewals, every months extra costs for an other plugin, horrible practise. I wait a few days but if I hear nothing from updraftplus, thats it for me.

@vanessa6297 Smash Balloon had at the moment posted a new version, now the problems with updraftplus seems to be solved.

@jackmac71 Thanks for the suggestion. I reinstalled Feeds for YouTube but still had the same issues as before it stalls my backup for some strange reason. I have a feeling it’s an issue with my hosting provider.
