    Hello,

I’m currently eyeing this plugin for a customer’s website. They are using Mailchimp to send out a newsletter. I have Feedzy configured to their liking, but so far every imported Blogpost contains a month’s worth of newsletters.
Is this a Feedzy Free limitation, is this a Mailchimp issue?
I just don’t want to recommend the customer to buy anything that does not solve their issue.

    Thank you for your help!

    Hello,

Feedzy imports the feeds as simple Posts; there should be no special cases for it.

You have the option to set the date for imported items. If not, the default date will be the time it makes the import. Based on this date, maybe you can set Mailchimp to include the blog posts until the preferred date (e.g., published in the last week).

    Hello,

I’m not quite sure I follow. I changed the field from item_date to post_date and still the posts that are created are always bundled up by month.

E.g.: One imported post is newsletter july and it contains all the posts that were put up on mailchimp in the month of july. Am I missing anything in the config, or how do i get every single mailchimp post to be a single post in wordpress?

Is the only way to set the date range so, that it pulls the posts regularly and therefore they do not end up bundled up?

Got it. Can you provide us with the newsletter feed link you’re trying to import into Mailchimp? We’ll check its structure to see if there might be an issue with detection.

@stabilergott I looked at the provided feed, and the problem is thatthe mentioned posts in the newsletter are not individual items. The items of the feed are the newsletter for each month, and the posts are embedded as HTML code inside the description.

Here is how it looks at the structural level

Feedzy transforms each item into a posts or page. We do not have such advanced processing for creating posts from a feed item description.

If you want individual posts, you need to provide a feed where the posts are like in the structure below (for the feed https://itatscale.de/feed/,the posts are the items)

Thank you very much. I will inquire with my customer.
