Hi,
The plugin works as a “tag manager”, taking care of the pixel part. It doesn’t upload products into a product catalog, you must do this by other means.
There are several ways to do it.
Using feeds – there are several plugins, payed or free:

https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/wp-product-feed-manager/

Or you can use Facebook for WooCommerce. In this case you must change the ID logic inside our plugin to match theirs.

If I add the code below each product page, will pixel product syncing work without having to create a feed?
<meta property=”og:id” content=”ID of product here” />
Thanks!
No, that OG tag has no use. If you want to upload the products using OG tags, you need title, image, description, condition, and brand.
We actually have a paid add-on that ads all the required OG tags: https://www.pixelyoursite.com/opengraph-plugin
And a page explaining how to use it here: https://www.pixelyoursite.com/facebook-product-catalog-opengraph

But Facebook demands the use of an ID to sync the products using a pixel, check my screenshot:

Will this OpenGraph plugin solve it?
Here’s a screenshot with the Product Catalog OG debug tool showing a product that uses our OG dedicated plugin: https://ibb.co/syTq2QY
Those are the OG tags you need for the products to be uploaded on page visit.
Hello, I have the same exact issue that An0nimo had.
The problem is that I m using a bigcommerce website.
Any idea on how to solve it?
Thank you
Hi Ecolution,
Just a few things:
1. This is a support forum for PixelYourSite users, and you don’t use our plugin. I think you should ask the question on the correct forum.
2. Our plugin doesn’t have an integration with Bigcommerce, so is not the right tool for what you need.
3. It looks like your products are matched, so you somehow manage to create a Product Catalog. I assume that you no longer need support for this issue. If that’s not the case, here are a few possible solutions:
a. In order to synchronize your store using the pixel, you need some specific OpenGraph tags. Here’s a help page about it: https://www.facebook.com/business/help/1175004275966513
b. You can also upload your products using a feed.
I am not familiar with Bigcommerce, so I can’t recommend any practical solutions on how actually implement these.
