Hi @theblueli
I understand that the attributes are not showing in the order they are set in the product edit panel.
Thanks for sharing the screenshots.
If your default sort order is already set to Custom ordering then you may need to check the order on the product attribute page. You would need to hover over the attribute that you want to shift and use the three lines to drag the attribute up or down. In the following example the size M (medium) needs to be moved above L (large):

This does not seem to work as well, I also tried to switch sort from custom to Name, Term ID. not working at all. Wonder if this option is not meant to do a custom order for dropdown.
Thanks
Hi there,
As suggested by Margaret you’d need to reorder your attribute terms in the right order ➔ XL on top, then L and M while at the moment they’re L, M, XL (https://ibb.co/QQZhT5f).
Here’s a screencast that shows how to do it.

Hope this helps!
Well, This is weird I did what exactly you did 2 days ago. It did not make any changes. But today I checked again. The option is now in the custom order.
Because of cron job? Redis Cache thing…?
Anyway, it is resolved…
thanks

It could be. If this happens again, we recommend purging all cache from any caching plugin active on the site, and checking with your hosting provider for any caching from their end, if need be. Here’s a couple of helpful guides:
– https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-clear-your-cache-in-wordpress/
Good to know the issue is resolved now. 🙂
