I have got the same cuestion…
Another plugin i used was temporarily removed for security reasons until it was patched.
If a plugin seems abandoned and is removed from the ww.wp.xz.cn repository i would advise removing the plugin and looking for an alternative.
Edit:
As this plugin was last updated 2 weeks ago it doesn’t look updated.
Maybe the plugin author can clarify this situation.

Same question from me. I have this installed on many sites so would like to know why it was removed and how safe it is to leave in.
I changed to https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/404-to-homepage/ which seems to work the same but without logging. Has anyone got other recommendations too?
Well, seeing as you don’t care enough to respond to your users I’m dumping this plugin on all my sites. Great job. /s
it seems to be back in the repository now so assume all is well

Thanks for pointing that out singingcyclist.
Hello guys,
@rejigit @singingcyclist @envacademy @caged @elevas33
first of all, i’m sorry for being late,
for sure, the plugin was down before one week because of using the Google logo in our old banner, in addition to some issues in the selling message.
here is screenshot from the email:

Anyway, we fixed all of them and uploaded the plugin to be 100% compliance with WordPress policies.
we also updated the plugin with a new feature (the redirects log)
thanks
