They’re entirely compatible; we use the ones from Genesis Framework too (although modified) on https://theseoframework.com/ (at the top-right corner of each page), in conjunction with the ones from The SEO Framework.
For search engines, the breadcrumbs outputted by The SEO Framework supersede all visual breadcrumbs on your site. With that, the visual ones don’t have a direct effect on search engines, but they can significantly help your visitors nonetheless.
To completely satisfy all facts, there are still some gaps to fill; like there’s no breadcrumb output on archives by The SEO Framework. I’m going to fill these gaps, together with creating visual breadcrumbs, in the future.
