about exec() / exec.php or url_fopen functions

    Your plugin looks very popular and I want to use it on my website as well.

    However, my hosting company disables all exec() / exec.php or url_fopen functions. The hosting company supports CURL as an alternative to url_fopen.
    I did not find any answer from the forum. Do you mind telling me if your plugin uses exec() / exec.php or url_fopen functions or CURL?

    Hi,

    thanks for your question!

    TablePress does not use any of these functions directly. You are good to go 🙂
    (It does use the WordPress HTTP API for some import functions, and that should then use CURL by default.)
